Companies

In the SEPA project, companies play a significant role in supporting the project implementation, because execution of their payments as the SEPA payments – SEPA credit transfers, SEPA card payments, SEPA direct debit – and sending SEPA e-invoices, results in the provision of the majority of all Latvia's payment services.

Company payment management principles gradually migrate to the SEPA payment legal, business and technical requirements. The developed SEPA payment standards have been simplifying business activities in the European internal market.

In the migration process all involved stakeholders are invited to perform the SEPA compliance self-assessment.
