On 9 November 2010 Latvijas Banka's Electronic Clearing System (EKS) will launch its SEPA functionality. EKS SEPA will be joined with other SEPA compliant infrastructures in the EU, ensuring its participants' capability to send and receive euro payments within the SEPA area - the EU countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland and Monaco.
